This South Lake Tahoe yard is being reimagined through a thoughtful, ecologically minded design that replaces turf with native plantings. A central mound forms a focal point, accented with boulders, logs, and pollinator habitat features to create texture and support biodiversity, while paths of decomposed granite guide visitors through the landscape. The homeowners participated in the local turf buyback program, helping reduce water use and foster a more sustainable approach to their yard. We look forward to seeing how it continues to grow and evolve in the seasons ahead.
